Siemens is the author of the critically-acclaimed Sloane Donovan series. His first novel, <a href=\"https:\/\/newestpress.com\/books\/to-those-who-killed-me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>To Those Who Killed Me<\/em><\/a>, was released in 2022, and went on to win the inaugural Mystery and Thriller Book of the Year Award at the 2023 Alberta Book Publishing Awards. His follow-up book, <a href=\"https:\/\/bookshop.newestpress.com\/collections\/forthcoming\/products\/call-of-the-void\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Call of the Void<\/em><\/a>, won the 2024 Shamus Award for Best Paperback P.I. Novel. The third in the series, <em>Blood Alley<\/em>, will be released in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">He recently completed <em>Karmic Rat<\/em>, a chase thriller which takes place over two days, and is currently at work on the sequel, <em>Fault Lines<\/em>. When he\u2019s not writing, he\u2019s training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, lifting weights, and doing yoga.
